the large chunks of damage is from bleed, once you build up enough bleed it does a percent of the bosses hp in damage as opposed to a flat number.

I usually like to turn the brightness to 8 on these games. The recommended brightness is always way too dark, but 10 is way too saturated. 8 gives you good detail on things without sacrificing the darks

I do not want to detract from the effort of letmesoloher, but i have to say his build is optimal and the control of the boss he has in this fight is reachable by 200+ malenia fights, besides, most of my defeats when summoned is because the host becomes overly confident and gets killed in a single hit, by fighting malenia by himself he is ensuring victory, what i apreciate about letmesoloher is not his skill but the time he took helping other people very early since the release date, others with his skill and time would have dedicated to pvp, invading and bothering pve players, but he did the opposite and i respect that, very much.

“Let me solo her” is a beast. He is the equivalent of an S-rank player. And the difference between A-Rank and an S-Rank, Is a chasm equal only between the gap of a D-Rank to an A-Rank. There is a reason why this player was honored by from themselves with a commemorative sword to celebrate his 1000th victory over the hardest boss in the game currently. I’ve said this before I would not be one bit, surprised if his character isn’t immortalized in the upcoming DLC if not future games made by from soft. Because he is a living legend.

The reason for Malenia getting the "healing" could be twofold. In the earlier patches of the game, sometimes there would be a bug that allowed her to heal off of summoned phantoms even if they had I-frames active. The other reason, which looks to be the case here, is just latency from the host player, causing the visual indicator for damage dealt to be delayed or reverted for a moment before the host's connection can catch up.
